Waiver

By signing this document, I hereby waive any and all claims or liability against the organizers of this event.

This comprehensive waiver and release agreement outlines the inherent risks and responsibilities associated with participating in a CPR and first aid instruction course provided by Life Compass. By signing this document, the participant acknowledges and accepts the unavoidable dangers involved in learning lifesaving medical techniques. In exchange for the valuable instruction and certification received, the participant willingly surrenders their right to pursue any claims or legal action related to injuries they may sustain, whether to themselves or others, as a direct result of the training.

The participant recognizes that physical harm, including the tragic possibility of death, is a genuine risk when practicing emergency response procedures. However, they agree to assume full responsibility for these dangers and potential consequences. The waiver also requires the participant to hold Life Compass harmless from any fiscal, physical, or other types of damages that may arise from their use of the skills learned during the course. This absolves the instructors and organization of liability, shifting the onus entirely onto the participant.

By signing this legally binding contract, the participant is forfeiting their right to seek compensation or redress, no matter what injuries or harm may befall them or others as a direct outcome of the CPR training. It is an acknowledgement that the participant fully understands and accepts the inherent risks, and that they are willingly engaging in the course of their own free will. This waiver serves to protect the instructors and training provider from any potential legal ramifications stemming from the instruction provided.

This document constitutes the Registration Agreement and Liability Waiver (hereinafter referred to as the “Agreement and Waiver”).
